Sometimes it really hits me just how g-hetto my neighborhood is.  Especially when compared to things like this.  It’s normal to me sure, but most of the folks I hang out with on a regular basis would feel uncomfortable in Bushwick/Bed-Sty. What does it mean when I feel more at home a block from the PJ’s than on a comfy, hipster laden street? Sometimes it really hits me just how g-hetto my neighborhood is.  Especially when compared to things like this.  It’s normal to me sure, but most of the folks I hang out with on a regular basis would feel uncomfortable in Bushwick/Bed-Sty.

What does it mean when I feel more at home a block from the PJ’s than on a comfy, hipster laden street?
